Now in its 5th year, the exclusive partnership between the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and Henry Schein Practice Solutions has delivered the most state-of-the art, comprehensive practice management technology on the market today. Designed specifically for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, by oral and maxillofacial surgeons, OMSVision advances the art of practice without limitation by delivering a truly sophisticated and totally digital experience to the OMS office.

OMSVision is truly visionary. Created by the AAOMS Committee on Software Development and Computer Technology, comprised of doctors from all six districts across the U.S., from small, medium and large, multi-location offices, under the direction of Bruce Lieberthal, DDS, OMSVision internalizes the hundreds to thousands of suggestions and comments received from doctors and staff—an entire industry of ideas rolled into one premier product.

“In 2002, AAOMS partnered with Henry Schein Practice Solutions, to bring a new type of practice management software system to the oral and maxillofacial surgery office,” said AAOMS President Dr. W. Mark Tucker. “At the time, technology designed to meet the specific needs of the specialty was unavailable. With the help of Dr. Lieberthal and the members of the AAOMS Committee, we succeeded in providing an innovative product that can be customized to meet the unique needs of every OMS office. We are pleased to see that the number of OMS practices benefiting from our decision to develop OMSVision is growing exponentially. Our partnership has truly generated positive results for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, their staff and their patients. The Committee is closely managed by the AAOMS Board of Trustees to ensure the original charter is followed to develop a product with direct and regular input from Association members. Feature enhancement requests are received directly at through the Committee, where each request is reviewed and discussed at quarterly meetings by the group in a structured process. Every doctor that makes a request receives a written acknowledgment from the task force and Henry Schein Practice Solutions.
